I am a recently graduated mechatronics engineer from Canada working in the San Francisco Bay Area. I have a variety of skills spread throught mechanical, electrical and software engineering, but I am most interested in sensor design, calibration and verification.
ResuméI grew up in Ontario, Canada where I was an avid rower and dedicated student. To explore my interests in software and robotics I studied mechatronics engineering at the University of Waterloo. There I developed a variety of skills through academia and the popular co-op program.
My final co-op placement was in San Francisco, California at Uber ATG where I worked on cutting-edge LiDAR technologies. This opportunity proved to be my ticket into the autonomous vehicle industry.
Canadian through-and-through, my family makes their own maple syrup and skates the rideau each year.
BASc awarded in honors mechatronics engineering from Canada's premier engineering school.
Working on LiDAR at Uber ATG introduced me to the wonderful field of autonomous vehicles and sensor engineering.
I worked cross-functionally to validate electro-mechanical assemblies and sensor functionality.
I created electro-mechanical systems and software applications to validate cutting-edge LiDAR technology.
Created sensor calibration scripts and developed software applications for automating bag file analysis.
Here are some of the latest companies that have employed me along with a description of the work I did there.
